When somebody builds a garburator that dumps into a composter ... well, it'll be pretty impressive anyway. Just seems like a waste to pour all those well-ground eggshells, coffee grounds and veggie peels into a municipal toxic waste system.
Actually, according to the City of Edmonton website, our sewage IS turned into compost. See here for details.
